Updating bios asus laptop speed dating vacaville ca

To fix your Drivers problems you will need to know the particular model of the Asus device you are having problems with.Once you have the details of the Asus device, then you can search the Asus website for your drivers and, if available, download and install these drivers. The problem is, I cannot get into the BIOS to set the proper parameters to do this. No matter what key you hit, the laptop boots right into Windows 8. I could try removing the hard drive, and that would probably make the system go into the BIOS, but this laptop was poorly designed and you have to remove about 12 screws then pry to top cover and keyboard off.

Hey there everyone, so I have had this Windows 8 asus computer for about a year now, never had any big problems with it, I was on steam, I started dark souls, it started normally, then all of a sudden, the screen turned tealish and the speakers were making a screeching noise.

The computer crashed Now when it starts, displays the asus screen (where you can press f8 to go to bios) when I don't press f8, it brings me to the bios screen anyways, it will not start Windows up at all.

Nothing happened until I released the power button.

When I released the power button (still holding the Insert/Scroll button depressed), the computer came up and Windows booted.

While performing the HP Health Check, it was recommended that I upgrade the existing bios.

After downloading, the computer shutdown but upon reboot, computer would not boot up. Here's how I solved the problem (though I can't tell you why it worked, other than it obviously reset the CMOS).

Asus jumped up one rank this year in reviews, from third to second.

Of the 24 Asus laptops we tested, nine received an Editors’ Choice award.

Its an asus x501a I've tried disabling everything I could think of etc, and it's still not doing any thing any help would be appreciated thank you. I restored all bios to defaults, enabled the CMS mode and restarted I think then it went back into BIOS, so I did same again but then enabled the second option that is also part of CMS once that gets enabled saved it and it eventually came out of BIOS. I've been all over the internet and still not found any options to sort this out.
